The Village Hall is situated in the village of Armitage on Shropshire Brook Road. It sits in a quiet location overlooking approximately 8 acres of public playing fields. It has lovely walkways around the fields, through wooded areas and alongside the babbling Shropshire Brook.
One of the largest Village Halls in the area, it comprises of the main hall, officially named the Lewis Hall, which is approx. 16m x 16m. This main hall is very light and airy, it features a wooden floor, large Dorma windows, 2 sets of large double doors creating easy access for bands, inflatables, and large conference equipment. It also features a shuttered bar area and shuttered kitchen area which can both be opened up onto the main hall if required. The main hall is currently used for Sports Clubs, Weddings, Parties, Disco’s, Private Events, Craft Fairs, Toddler Groups, WI, Scouts and Beavers, Clog and Line dancing, Ballet, Karate, Badminton, Choirs and Craft Groups.
It is a large flexible space that can be dressed up to suit any occasion. Maximum numbers 200.
There are also two smaller meeting rooms each holding up to 40 people.
The Village Hall also has indoor cloakroom facilities with both disabled and baby changing facilities.
