Further to the initial residents’ meeting held in June 2022, we agreed to hold a follow-up meeting to share the progress of any actions arising.
The next meeting is on Tuesday, 24th January 2023, at the Armitage with Handsacre Village Hall in Shropshire Brook Road. The session will discuss what has happened since and how we are moving forward to try and alleviate the issues.
Matters on the agenda will include:
Update regarding speed monitoring by the Community Speed Watch volunteers
Progress on the installation of SID (Speed Indicator Devices)
Update on the weight limit breach by HGVs, including HS2 trucks
Again we will invite representatives from the parish, district and county councils, Highways Agency, Police, Community Speedwatch and local businesses to attend, and we’d like you to join us.
Over 100 residents participated in the first meeting, which shows the level of concern about the village’s traffic issues, and we hope you will join us again. This time, hot drinks will be available for £1, with profits going to the village hall.

We look forward to seeing you there and in the meantime if you have any questions, please email armitagecsw@gmail.com
